Learner Led Conferences

Last week on Thursday our school finished at 12.30pm. All parents of learners had to book in a 10 minute interview time with a learning coach. Learners had to be present to talk and reflect on their learning over the last two terms so far. In preparation for this Moutere learners had a written task that they had to write up first and then publish to present.

Thank you to all the parents that were able to make their appointment times and all our amazing learners who shared during the evening. Here are some photos from learner led conferences with the awesome learning coaches in Moutere.

Lockdown practice

On Thursday we had a lockdown practice so that all learners and staff are aware of the procedures in case of emergency. We practiced staying calm, being quiet and lying on the floor away from danger. We also practiced evacuating to the carpark and waited until we had the all clear. Now we know what to do in case of emergency!
